When you’ve been together for a number of years and feel that the time has come to set a date it won’t be long till you walk down the aisle.  A large amount of planning is needed for a wedding and this is sometimes forgotten or not taken seriously.  There is much more to think about than simply the wedding dress, the location and the ring and it is important to arrange things well ahead of time.

It is a common courtesy at weddings now a days to thank the people who have been part of your day with wedding gifts.  These tend to take the form of a gift that is a reminder of the part they played on your day.  Good thank you gifts include engraved gifts and personalised mugs.

Something people can forget when planning a wedding is the legal side.  You may wish to take out wedding insurance, as this will cover you for any potential disasters.  You will be covered for if the wedding rings are lost or stolen, if the dress is damaged and if you have to postpone your day due to an accident or sickness.
