With ofsted inspecting and regulating all of our education establishments, families can look at the reports and see which education establishments are getting the best results.

The arguments for and against this regulation are plentiful with one person saying ?it is binding the education establishments up with beurocratic red tape? the other saying ?the levels of education establishments is rising because of it, and letting the families to make an educated decision?.

Whatever your view point is, families are discovering themselves in the position that they can find out which schools are offering the best service in their area. If your child has special needs, requiring for example help with dyslexia or attention deficit disorder the reports allow you to see which schools locally might provide best for your child.

Having read the ofsted reports you could find that the schools in your particular area are not for you. As an alternative you might consider sending your child to a boarding school where your child could have smaller class sizes and a higher standard of education, many boarding schools offering scholarships or bursaries.
